[ICT Media STRATEGIES] – [ICT Media STRATEGIES] – The Cameroonian government, the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organization (CTO), and the Telecommunications Regulatory Board organized the opening ceremony of DIGITAL WEEK CAMEROON 2023. The ceremony was chaired by Chief Dr. Joseph Dion NGUTE, the Prime Minister and Chief of government. It was at the Hilton Hotel in Yaoundé this 17th October 2023.

The event that took place in Yaoundé from October 16 to 20, 2023 aims to bring together members from across the Commonwealth and stakeholders in the ICT and Energy industries.

During his speech, the Prime Minister presented Cameroon’s journey towards becoming a digital nation. He also mentioned the direct connection with neighbouring countries with optical fiber.
